Your Intentions Matter: Why Do You Do What You Do?
June 9, 2025 · 2 min read
It is not about what you do; it is about the intention behind what you do.
In multiple channels, I’ve seen discussions about saying or not saying words like “thanks” and “please” to AI.
It is so funny, as with everything in life, we can argue the pros and the cons. Depending on the person I am interacting with, I see the reflection of their style in the answer.
- No, it costs millions to process words like that. They are useless.
- Yes, when AI dominates the world, it will increase my chances of being free.
You can be rational, you can be afraid, you have endless possibilities.
Knowing that you can be whatever you want, who do you choose to be?
I invite my clients to stay as connected to abundance as possible. In the second example, even if it was said as a joke, it might come from a fear-based place. They’re saying yes and please not because they genuinely want to, but because they fear the consequences of not doing so.
It is a valid reason, and yet, is it the best feeling we can experience? Is it empowering us?
The truth is that for now, we have no idea how it will evolve and what will happen.
What if the person chooses to write “please” and “thanks” in their AI interactions simply because that’s who they are? They choose to be polite and caring, regardless of who or what they interact with.
Same action, completely different intention. That’s when we can feel abundance and expansion.
It’s far more empowering to have clarity and make a conscious choice.
Knowing your intention will transform your interactions and your sense of fulfillment.
Before stepping into a meeting, pause and ask yourself: What does success look like for me? What do I want to feel and have by the end?
When you have that clarity, you significantly increase your chances of achieving it. You might not have all the answers or know the exact outcome, but you can decide how you will show up, and that makes all the difference.
When is now a good time to stop being an actor in your life and start directing it?
Choose intentionally!
